New affiliates often have a difficult time figuring out how to make money with Clickbank because they don’t know where to start. This is because most of the methods new affiliates come across online are often either too convoluted for a beginner to understand or extremely outdated and no longer feasible. Because I went through a similar situation, I put together this guide covering 7 easy ways to make money with Clickbank based on the methods I used back when I used to promote Clickbank products.

Before we delve into affiliate marketing methods, there are a few things you should do first. The first is to join the Internet marketing forum in order to communicate with other people who are in the same industry as you. The second is to find a niche, although if you’re having trouble finding a niche, then you can read my article titled “Big List of 230 Markets/Niches“.

Method 1: YouTube and Clickbank

This was the first method I had ever experimented with when I began my journey into affiliate marketing and it also helped me land my first sale. The basic idea of the YouTube+Clickbank method is to upload videos. Sounds simple, right? Well, unfortunately it gets a little more intricate than that.

“Free” method: Create Your Own Videos

What I used to do was create videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, more specifically I would search for free video templates, find images of the product from the vendor’s site, and insert them into the video. Below, I’ve posted an example of a video I created back in 2014 for a PLR Clickbank product.

If you have a review copy of the product you’re promoting, then simply mention the pros and cons of the product in your review video. Be sure to have a compelling title in the video to attract viewers such as, “Is ____ a scam”, or, “How well does _______ actually work”?

Paid Method: Fiverr

Making money with Clickbank through this method is for those of you who have money to invest. The way this method is usually executed is by going to Fiverr and ordering a “review” video by someone offering the service (you usually have to send the “reviewer” a script to read). Once they send their review video to you, upload the video to YouTube. An alternative to buying views from Fiverr is to use Like4Like to gain views. Method 2: Classifieds and Clickbank

This one is spammy, although it does work. What you have to do is promote a Clickbank product like one of those VIN reports and browse the car ads on any classifieds site. Find an ad that doesn’t have a VIN report and contact the seller asking them for a VIN report. When they say they don’t have one, tell them that they can get one cheap from (insert your affiliate link here). They’ll buy the VIN report and you’ll move on to the next car seller.

Method 3: Pinterest and Clickbank

I have less experience making money with Clickbank with this method, but I made a few sales doing it years ago. The basic idea of this is to use a Pinterest account to send visitors to your landing page. If you do not have Pinterest followers, just create a board, post frequently, and follow other boards (this helped me gain about 5 followers per day). The great thing about this method is that the traffic you send to your landing page is highly targeted (people following your board).

“Free” Method: Create a Pinterest account to drive traffic

The way this works is very simple: you use pins that contain a link to your landing page on your Pinterest account to send visitors to your landing page. For example, if you have a Pinterest board about cooking recipes, you could post a picture of the meal, a short description of the recipe, and a link to your landing page if they want more recipes. Making money with Clickbank this way can often take long.

Method 4: Facebook and Clickbank

I’m going to keep this money making method simple. Instead of describing the PPC version of the Facebook+Clickbank method, I’m going to describe a paid and free versions of using Facebook page followers to your advantage.

“Free” Method: Share a Facebook fan page with your friends.

Making money with Clickbank with this method is pretty self-explanatory. You just use a Facebook fan page to promote a Clickbank product that is relevant to your fan page. While this seems simple, there are a few important tips you should remember when using Clickbank with your Facebook page:

• Make sure the products are relevant to your fan page
• Do not only post links to products. You should post 8 normal posts (funny, helpful, etc) for every promotional post, although you can alter this rule if wish.
• Link to a landing page.
• Do not post plain hoplinks on Facebook. This is a great way to get your posts flagged.

Paid Method: Buy “likes” to increase your followers.

While I do not condone buying “likes”, I understand that sometimes a Facebook page needs a little boost in order to look more authentic and gain followers. Other than that, this method is very similar to the free method. Another alternative is to use Like4Like for getting likes on your Facebook page. Method 5: Blogging and Clickbank

While I am not promoting Clickbank products with this article, I am promoting my website by doing the same thing. This method really needs little explanation; simply create a free blog using WordPress or Blogger, customise the design, and post frequently. While this method seems easy, you should remember that unless you have helpful and useful information in your articles, good SEO skills, and the time to wait for your website to grow, then making money with Clickbank through this method is not for you.

Method 6: PPC+Clickbank

This is the most complicated method to make money with Clickbank for any beginner, although some people may find it easy. If you do not know what PPC stands for, it is an acronym for “Pay Per Click”. What this means is that each time your ad is clicked on, you pay the search engine/website money based on a number of factors (bid amount, quality score, relevancy, etc). While this can be a great way to send traffic to your landing page, it can also become very expensive in a short time due to competition. Method 7: Offline+Clickbank

This is probably my favourite method to make money with Clickbank since it’s so easy to get started an doesn’t require much marketing experience. However, most people overlook this method since affiliate marketing is considered Internet marketing, although this doesn’t mean you have to think inside the box. There are so many ways to execute this method that it would be tedious to list every method here. Instead, here are 5 examples of offline marketing:

• Post flyers around town with your landing page URL.
• Leave “special offers” with QR codes attached in mailboxes.
• Leave notes on car windshields with your landing page URL/QR code.
• Tell friends and relatives looking for a specific service about where they can get a good deal for a low price (which is when you send them a link to your landing page/squeeze page).
• Post an advertisement in a newspaper.
