Why The “How Much Is My Blog Worth” Calculators Aren’t Accurate
After reading the list above, you be thinking that those site worth calculators could just incorporate those factors into their algorithm, but it’s not quite simple. In addition to not incorporating many of the factors in the list above, these calculators estimate your web traffic, social media presence, and a few other factors on your site that can’t be estimated without access to your analytics data. For example, if you enter my URL into one of those site worth calculators, you’ll see that this specific site in the image below values my site at $9,615.
However, when I scroll down on the estimation page, I noticed that the number of visitors on this site is way off from what I’m actually receiving.
This isn’t even the only error on this particular calculator. Other site worth calculators provide site worth estimates ranging from a paltry $1,000 to a whopping $300,000; what a huge discrepancy!
Now, if you’re interested in getting a proper estimate on your site’s worth, FEinternational offers this service in addition to having many articles on their blog that covers that site selling extensively.
